Welcome to La Abadía

We are livestock breeders and our family has been working this land since the 19th century. They started by rearing livestock and then discovered how to sell it and kept doing it for decades. We knew it was important to move forward with the times and decided to extend our livestock by breeding Ibérico pigs and, by 2010, the next step was to take our cured products and fresh meats directly to the consumer.

 

We prepare meat products from our Acorn-fed 100% or grain-fed Ibérico pigs: hams, shoulder hams and loins among other Ibérico products. All of this is done in Guijuelo (Salamanca).

 

To do so, we use the good old traditional and crafted methods: manual salting, natural drying rooms and curing cellars, minimum handling by man and we only use the best natural ingredients.
